LIFT is Moving to Opportunity Center in 2013!
Opportunity Center will provide an “action center” for thousands of our neighbors interested in finding and creating better, more productive, self-sufficient lives for themselves and their families.
LIFT will relocate its headquarters from downtown Dallas to Opportunity Center in 2013. The Center is located just south of Deep Ellum at I-30 and Malcolm X Blvd., 1.4 miles from our current location.Every person coming to Opportunity Center will be able to be lifted up through the services and collaboration of LIFT, CitySquare, and Workforce Solutions of Greater Dallas. We will be able to accommodate more English as a Second Language, Adult Literacy, and GED Preparation classes at the campus.
Workforce Solutions, to which LIFT is an approved vendor, will provide employment resources, complementing CitySquare’s food pantry, wellness center, job training programs, AmeriCorps team, Project Access health navigators and Food on the Move summer meal program.
To find out more and get involved, contact Lauren McCarthy at 214-824-2000 ext. 230.
