LIFT has been a true blessing for me to come here and learn how to read and wright (sic) something. I couldn't have done on my own and just to know that you care about someone else life is so beautiful.

LIFT is a very helpful school for many people. It is a school for all ages. It is a place to come for accomplishment and to achieve goals. ...the most important thing that LIFT has made me see. That there is more to life than just a minimum wage job. I want to be something in life for my kids. My kids are number one in my life next to God. They are counting on me to do the right thing. While attending Literacy Istruccion (sic) for Texas. I get the most valuable help. First, I get a good welcome. Also, I find good people. They like to help people like me who want to learn. I went to a community college before I came here. But I only learned a little. In ESL classes. I came here and everything changed. Because, I really started to learn the things I need. My first teacher was Karen A. She teaches me a lot in English foundation. Thanks to God I learned vary (sic) good

LIFT has helped me believe in myself. That I still have a chance to make a better person for me. The teachers offer their help as much as they can. I went threw high school all the way to the 12th grade. But I didn’t get to walk the stage the way I wanted, and now maybe LIFT can help me fill my dream, a hole in my life. I'm glad I found a place that can help me. I would like to thank the teachers and staff.

I am a forty eight year old single mother with two kids. All my life, my focus was on my children, now they have grown up, I asked the lord, what do I do now? He answered, what is it that you have always wanted to do? I said to read and write well, so I began to tell people about what I was trying to do. They told me about the school downtown Dallas that helped adults to read, write and get their GED. The program was called LIFT. I begin to thank God for my prayers that he answered. I cano not express enough how the LIFT program has made a difference in my life.

LIFT helped me by reading and understanding what I read and sounding out words. The teacher is a verry verry good teacher. She teaches us a lot and it helped me a lot. She is a verry good teacher.
