I feel I've gained more by coming and applying myself. I have improved in my reading and I have more confidence in myself. Now I read more and I even try to read a little Spanish and it's easier to break up words. I still struggle some but I'm reading better than I did when I first came. I would also like to say thanks to all the staff at LIFT and mostly my three teachers, Ms. Carrie, Mr. Bill and Mrs. Corrine. I also appreciate their patience and their willingness to help us.

LIFT has helped me believe in myself. That I still have a chance to make a better person for me. The teachers offer their help as much as they can. I went threw high school all the way to the 12th grade. But I didn’t get to walk the stage the way I wanted, and now maybe LIFT can help me fill my dream, a hole in my life. I'm glad I found a place that can help me. I would like to thank the teachers and staff.

I am 24 years old and I'm a drop out. I just gave up in school when I was a teen. I went to Job Corp, the only thing I finished in Job Corp was my trade. I have a good job but I want to make more money. So I decided to get my GED at LIFT. What I learned so far in life is that it takes a lot of passion and a lot of studying. The teachers are nice and very understanding. LIFT also taught me not to give up.

LIFT helped me read. It helped me write. It helped me read a book. It helped me to write cursive.

LIFT helped me by reading and understanding what I read and sounding out words. The teacher is a verry verry good teacher. She teaches us a lot and it helped me a lot. She is a verry good teacher.

I like the class. It helps with direction and helps you with your grandchildren.
